Watts Bar Poker Run
For the benefit of Safe Haven Light, a We-Care TN project for abused, neglected, and at-risk children.

The Third Annual Watts Bar Poker Run is shaping up to be the best event yet! With nine marinas taking part, participants have a great choice in stops to pick up their five cards. This year, the activities begin with a pre-run briefing that will be held at Winsteads American Grill in Spring City. The briefing will begin at 6:00 pm and will include a weather briefing, an updated notice on lake and marina conditions and the rules for the poker run.
On Saturday, the event will begin at 9:00 am as a shotgun start with participants leaving from their dock or home marina. Those leaving from a marina will not pick up a card from their home marina. Everyone participating will stop at any five of the nine stops and will check in to receive a card. We encourage everyone to explore the marinas and have a look at the facilities and services they provide. All entries must be turned in by 2:00 pm at Terrace View. There will be a social hour (actually a two hour period from 2pm to 4pm) and food will be provided from 2pm to 6pm. The festivities at Terrace View Marina will begin around 5pm with the presentation of the winners and the entertainment will start at 6pm.
